What is sudateleclinics?

Sudateleclinics™ is a non-profitable, collaboration project between Sudanese medical personal, that is hosted by Ranna's Medical Educational Website^©. The program aims to establish a cornerstone for telemedicine in Sudan, through a series of digital, interactive computer-based programs, that cover both clinical knowledge and skills. The program also gives a good opportunity to test and assess acquired knowledge and skills. The scope of Sudateleclinics™ is wide, although it is primarily directed to the postgraduate level. Medical officers, registrars and specialty consultants will all find material to suite their needs as the web portal grows. Final year medical students will also find some of the work here useful, it may take time to grade and classify the work here in terms of different levels, but at the end of the day, and with the help of Sudanese doctors (and non-Sudanese doctors) this may easily be done. The project started in march 2008, in Al-Shaab hospital to produce the first edition of the series, the chest clinic, hoping that the project will expand in the near future to encompass all fields of modern medical practice.

Continuous Medical Education (CME) - is the part of the series that is concerned with educational material (e.g. learn how read CXR, learn how read ECG or the interpretation of Echo...etc). These material are collected from senior doctors or qualified young doctors throughout the world. Its just like a virtual tutorial session or teaching round where you are able to squeeze the juice of knowledge into your brain

Clinical Skill Assessment (CSA) - is the part of the series that is concerned with testing and evaluating your clinical knowledge and skills (e.g. interpretation of CXR case studies, ECG studies, Identifying heart sounds and murmurs, spotting clinical signs). These material are collected from senior doctors or qualified young doctors throughout the world. Its just like a virtual referral Clinic where you encounter a challenging case, and try your best to figure out the correct diagnosis and management plan.
